Filter Media

The media that we offer in the Pall AC9600FKN8ZYM is the type of filter media you need if you are concerned about damage to your machinery that contaminated hydraulic fluids can cause. Even if you aren’t concerned, at Hydrafil we are, and that is why we manufacture over 75% of our hydraulic filters with Microglass. The density and uniform shape of the inorganic fibers found in Microglass offer tremendous filtration efficiency over traditional cellulose filters. In fact, with microglass you will be able filter up to 400 times more particulate than with paper filter elements.

Filter Seal

Due to Viton’s phenomenal chemical resistance, high temperature range and its low compression set, hydraulic filters with Viton O-rings are an excellent choice for anyone that cares about their operation.

Viton o-rings are recommended for:

Petroleum oils
Di-ester base lubricants (MIL-L-7808, MIL-L-6085)
Silicate ester base lubricants (MLO 8200, MLO 8515, OS-45)
Silicone fluids and greases
Halogenated hydrocarbons (carbon tetrachloride, trichloroethylene)
Selected phosphate ester fluids
Acids
Operating temperature -20°f to 250°f
