The media that we offer in the Pall AC9497F12Z removes the guess work when it comes to maintaining clean hydraulic fluid. With Microglass there are no guesses, only absolutes, and that is why 75% of our hydraulic filters are manufactured with Microglass media. The reassurance and convenience of being able to capture and retain 400 times the amount of particulate offered by traditional paper filters is one of the main reasons why the majority of our hydraulic filters are Microglass. We also know that you and your organization will appreciate the increase in lifespan, durability and reduction in costs associated with unscheduled downtime that Microglass filters offer.

Filter Seal
Viton is the most dependable type of seal that is currently used on hydraulic filters. The characteristics that make Viton such an excellent choice are its resistance to extreme temperatures, its low compression set and its compatibility with a very broad range of fluids. In fact, Viton o-rings will maintain their sealing force even after long periods of compression and exposure to severe environments, and this is what will help you reduce costs through fewer periods of unscheduled downtime.

Viton o-rings are recommended for:

Petroleum oils
Di-ester base lubricants (MIL-L-7808, MIL-L-6085)
Silicate ester base lubricants (MLO 8200, MLO 8515, OS-45)
Silicone fluids and greases
Halogenated hydrocarbons (carbon tetrachloride, trichloroethylene)
Selected phosphate ester fluids
Acids
Operating temperature -20°f to 250°f
