Filter Media
The media that we offer in the Moog 071-60313A utilizes Microglass fibers to create a dense and uniform filter element. The density of the inorganic fibers found in Microglass increases the particulate capture and retention rate by up to 400 times when compared to Cellulose elements. In addition to the increased efficiency, the element itself does not suffer from degradation the way paper elements do, this prevents the element from returning and contributing to the contamination of your hydraulic fluid.

Filter Seal
Due to Viton’s phenomenal chemical resistance, high temperature range and its low compression set, hydraulic filters with Viton O-rings are an excellent choice for anyone that cares about their operation.

Viton o-rings are recommenced for:
  • Petroleum oils
  • Di-ester base lubricants (MIL-L-7808, MIL-L-6085)
  • Silicate ester base lubricants (MLO 8200, MLO 8515, OS-45)
  • Silicone fluids and greases
  • Halogenated hydrocarbons (carbon tetrachloride, trichloroethylene)
  • Selected phosphate ester fluids
  • Acids
  • Operating temperature -20°f to 250°f
