Filter Media

The media that we offer in the Moog 071-60707A absolutely loves dirt and contamination. In fact, Microglass has such strong feelings about dirt, that it captures, and retains, 99.9% of the contamination that passes through a filter with Microglass media. Our only concern when you use Microglass media is, that your hydraulic system will be unrecognizable clean and contaminant free. Don't worry though, we know that when this happens, you will be nothing but happy. We also know that your hydraulic system will be happy with its new state of cleanliness and its achieved ISO targets.

Filter Seal

Due to Viton’s phenomenal chemical resistance, high temperature range and its low compression set, hydraulic filters with Viton O-rings are an excellent choice for anyone that cares about their operation.

Viton o-rings are recommended for:

Petroleum oils
Di-ester base lubricants (MIL-L-7808, MIL-L-6085)
Silicate ester base lubricants (MLO 8200, MLO 8515, OS-45)
Silicone fluids and greases
Halogenated hydrocarbons (carbon tetrachloride, trichloroethylene)
Selected phosphate ester fluids
Acids
Operating temperature -20°f to 250°f
