Filter Media
The media that we offer in the EPE 1.0005AS3-A00-0-E is a Microglass media with water removal. This has the ability to bring high water counts down and to put your mind at ease knowing that your operation is running smooth and dry. While most water removal filter elements utilize low efficiency (nominally rated) media, we have combined the best of both worlds by removing water and maintaining a bx[c] = 1000 particulate removal efficiency. This ensures that gel particles and other types of unwanted matter aren’t released back into your system.

Filter Seal
Ethylene propylene O-rings, commonly called EPR or EPDM, offer outstanding resistance to polar solvents such as acetone, alcohols, and MEK. EPR is incompatible with petroleum oils and greases.

EPR O-rings are recommenced for:
  • Hot water and steam
  • Glycol based brake fluid
  • Many organic and inorganic acids
  • Polar solvents
