Hydrafil's Mobile Filtration Unit
New oil is often considered clean oil. However, during the production process, and transport, new oil will collect high levels of water and contamination. During this process, it is not uncommon for the ISO code of new oil to fall to 24/22/19, while the desired ISO code is 16/14/11.

Our Mobile Filter Cart efficiently and effectively removes any accumulated water and particulate. This process is critical to preserving lube and hydraulic systems due to the fact that free and dissolved water will lead to accelerated abrasion, the corrosion of metal surfaces, increased electrical conductivity, viscosity variance, loss of lubricity and bearing fatigue. Our filter elements with water removal capabilities will capture and retain up to 23 ounces of water.

Additionally, the Mobile Filter Cart will condition fluids that are already in service. The hose ends and reservoirs can be equipped with “quick connect” fittings that allow for the cart to be used as a portable side loop system.

Filter Seal
Ethylene propylene O-rings, commonly called EPR or EPDM, offer outstanding resistance to polar solvents such as acetone, alcohols, and MEK. EPR is incompatible with petroleum oils and greases.

EPR O-rings are recommenced for:

Hot water and steam
Glycol based brake fluid
Many organic and inorganic acids
Polar solvents
